What we liked
- + Medium-fast action is described as versatile enough to nymph, fish dries or throw streamers
- + Corrosion resistant guides and an anodized reel seat, with components listed for all-water use
- + Divided travel tube is included, protecting each of the four rod sections
Trade-offs
- - A general-purpose taper, not the dry fly specialist that the Echo rod it replaces was
- - Rod only, and the listing gives no rod weight or blank material details
