What we liked
- + Reel arrives loaded with weight-forward floating line, backing and a 9 ft tapered leader already tied on
- + Kit covers the small tools too: 2 zingers, line nippers, forceps and 6 spare tapered leaders
- + IM7 24T+30T carbon blank with cork handle, aluminum reel seat and alignment dots on the sections
Trade-offs
- - Die-cast reel and budget blank are entry level, built to learn on rather than to grow into
- - Only 9 flies are included, and the listing notes they are barbed patterns
