Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Medium-fast action is forgiving enough to learn on yet crisp on longer casts
- + Protective case is included, which many budget rods skip
- + 9ft 5wt spec keeps the rod useful as skills progress
Trade-offs
- - Newer brand with a shorter track record than Redington or Echo
- - Rod only listing leaves reel and line to be bought separately
