What we liked
- + 9ft length is the all-round standard for trout rivers, lakes and general casting
- + Breaks into 4 sections that slide into the supplied case for luggage or a backpack
- + Aventik offers a lot of graphite for the money compared with big-name travel rods
Trade-offs
- - Rod only, so you still need to buy a matching reel, line and leader
- - Check the line weight variant before ordering to match your rod
