What we liked
- + UPF 50 fingerless polyester covers the back of the hand against sun, and the fingertips stay free for knots and fly changes.
- + The 4-way stretch fabric is listed as fitting close without limiting grip, which matters when working a rod and line.
- + Non-slip polymer on the microfiber palm with synthetic leather pads reinforces the main wear points of the glove.
Trade-offs
- - The listing is generic across kayaking, cycling and driving, so it is not built specifically for fly fishing.
- - The listing is for one size and color, so check the size chart before ordering; fingerless gloves leave fingertips exposed.
