Echo Base Fly Rod
Echo Base fly rod, an entry-level rod from a respected brand that offers many weights and lengths for new anglers.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Echo Base series is widely recommended as a first rod for learning
- + Multiple size options let beginners match the rod to their local water
- + Echo's build quality holds up better than most budget alternatives
Trade-offs
- - Title gives no size, so the correct weight and length must be picked
- - Rod only, so the total cost rises once a reel and line are added
