What we liked
- + Front-weighted MPX taper loads rods quickly and turns over dries, nymphs and small streamers
- + Braided multifilament core is listed as staying supple across changing temperatures
- + Welded front loop speeds up leader changes, and the line weight is printed on the line for quick ID
Trade-offs
- - This listing is the 6-weight line, so 5-weight rods need the WF-5-F size sold separately
- - A premium-priced line next to the budget floating lines in this guide
