Uzaki Nissin Rod Tenkara Starter Set 320
Uzaki Nissin Tenkara Starter Set 320, a short Japanese starter rod set suited to small streams and newcomers.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + 320 length is easy to manage on narrow creeks and under cover
- + Starter set format makes it a simple first tenkara purchase
- + Nissin construction quality stands out against generic budget rods
Trade-offs
- - Short length limits reach on wider streams and pocket water
- - Set contents are not detailed, so extra line and flies may be needed
