What we liked
- + Choice of 3 or 4 Weight lets you tune the kit to tiny or medium streams
- + 7 Foot rod is easy to handle on brushy water and for younger anglers
- + Complete kit keeps the price low for a dedicated light-line setup
Trade-offs
- - Entry graphite is less sensitive than premium light rods
- - Short length gives up reach on wide rivers and big lakes
